Ocean jasper is a distinctive stone known for its exciting range of colors and its unique and varied orbicular patterns. It is only found in one perilous location in Madagascar. Discovered in 1922, knowledge of how to find and mine ocean jasper disappeared for 75 years until the location was rediscovered in 1997. This rare form of jasper is said to represent self-confidence, motivation, and transformation.
