Citrine is a magnificent, must-have crystal known for its gentle yellow color, ranging from sweet honey to smokier hues. Citrine gets its golden pigmentation from trace inclusions of iron combined with longer and/or warmer heating within the Earth’s crust, and it’s otherwise chemically similar to amethyst. It gets its name from the ancient Greek word for citron, a yellow citrus fruit. It is said to represent success, abundance, and new opportunities.
