Blue Apatite is an eye-catching mineral known for its exquisite turquoise blue. Apatite is also found in brown, green, gray, and yellow/golden varieties. Its name comes from the Greek exapatὀ (or apatao), meaning “to deceive”. This is because, historically, blue and green apatite were often been mistaken for peridot, emerald, and aquamarine. It is said to represent spiritual clarity and personal power.
