Carnelian is a variety of chalcedony prized for its blazing coloration, caused my inclusions of iron oxide. In addition to its intense fiery hue, carnelian often features fun spots or banded patterns. It gets its name from old Latin word corneolus, referring to a species of cherry that grew in Europe in the medieval era. Carnelian is said to represent passion, courage, and power.
This listing is for the carnelian tower pictured.
Please note that as these are natural crystals, small “imperfections” such as minor chips, cracks, crevices, caves, and more may be present. Size, shape, color, pattern, etc will vary as pictured.
