This Amber Cabochon has a trapped bug on one of the the ends. It is hard to see with the naked eye, but with a magnifying glass it is easy to see! I believe it is an ant and a beetle but I am not 100% sure on that identification. Amber is ancient tree sap hardened to natural resin. This bright, glowy fossil is known for its golden color and its ability to trap and preserve insects and plant matter. It has been recognized for its beauty since the Neolithic era, and it is said to represent patience, fearlessness, and potential.
This listing is for the amber cabochon pictured. PLEASE NOTE that Amber is incredibly lightweight as it is a resin, not a rock. Additionally, as it is a resin, bubbles and inclusions are very common. It is also somewhat warm to the touch.
