Amazonite is a unique feldspar mineral known for its lively green color. It is named for the Amazon River though, interestingly, many mineralogists attest that there is no evidence of Amazonite deposits existing in the area. Prized since the 10th century, this unique stone is said to represent courage, going with the flow, and prosperity.
