Ocean jasper is a unique stone prized for its beautiful patterns and wide range of color. It was discovered in 1922, but knowledge of how to find and mine ocean jasper disappeared for 75 years until its hazardous original mining location was rediscovered in Madagascar in 1997. Ocean jasper’s rare orbicular patterns cannot be found anywhere else, and this distinctive material is said to represent self-confidence, motivation, and transformation.
